Install it — your own app icon, offline & auto-updating

Installing puts a Hucksley's Bowl icon on your phone or computer. It opens in its own window like a normal app, works offline, and updates itself automatically whenever you're online — so you always have the newest version. Pick your device:

In Safari, tap Enter Hucksley's Bowl above. Then tap the Share icon (a square with an up-arrow, at the bottom) → Add to Home ScreenAdd. The Hucksley's Bowl icon appears on your home screen — tap it any time to open the app.
In Chrome, tap Enter Hucksley's Bowl above. Then tap the menu (top-right) → Install app (or "Add to Home screen"). The icon lands in your app drawer like any other app.
Safari (easiest): open the app, then in the top menu bar choose File → Add to Dock. Your Hucksley's Bowl icon appears in the Dock.
Chrome or Edge: open the app and click the Install icon (a small screen with a down-arrow) at the right end of the address bar → Install.
In Chrome or Edge, open the app, then click the Install icon (a small monitor with a down-arrow) at the right end of the address bar → Install. Your Hucksley's Bowl icon goes on the desktop and taskbar.

Tip: open it from your link and install it — don't just save the file. Only the installed app gets your icon, works offline, and updates itself. A saved file stays frozen and shows a plain page icon.

Your pets, recipes, inventory, and labels save privately on the device you use — they don't leave your phone or computer. Use Help & Data → Export backup inside the app to copy them to another device.

A note on care. Hucksley's Bowl™ is an educational meal-planning and organization tool for pet owners preparing food for their own animals. It is not veterinary advice and does not replace guidance from a veterinarian or board-certified veterinary nutritionist. Always consult a professional before feeding homemade diets long term.
