Hucksley's Bowl™ is a recurring subscription, billed monthly or yearly depending on the plan you select at checkout. By subscribing you expressly authorize The Healing Tree LLC, through its payment processor (Stripe), to charge your payment method the stated price for your chosen plan automatically, at the start of each billing period (each month for monthly plans, or each year for yearly plans), until you cancel.
All sales are final. There are no refunds, returns, exchanges, proration, or cancellation credits, except where a non-waivable law requires otherwise.

Hucksley's Bowl™ is an educational meal-planning and organization tool for pet owners who prepare food for their own animals. It provides general information and nutrition estimates based on approximate, publicly sourced ingredient values. It is not veterinary, medical, or professional advice, is not a substitute for examination, diagnosis, or treatment by a licensed veterinarian or board-certified veterinary nutritionist, and does not create any professional-client relationship.
Nutrient figures are approximations and may be incomplete or inaccurate. The app does not measure or guarantee that any recipe is complete, balanced, safe, or appropriate for any individual animal. It does not evaluate every nutrient. Any "complete and balanced," "in range," or similar indicator is an estimate from limited data only and must be confirmed with a professional before long-term feeding.
You understand that homemade and raw diets carry inherent risks — including nutritional excess or deficiency, bacterial or parasitic contamination, choking or injury from bones, and allergic reactions. You use this app entirely at your own risk and are solely responsible for all feeding decisions and for the health and safety of your animals. You agree to consult your veterinarian before starting, changing, or relying on any homemade diet, especially for puppies, kittens, seniors, pregnant or nursing animals, and animals with medical conditions.
The optional AI Helper sends information you choose to your own selected third-party AI provider using your own API key, and returns AI-generated content that may be inaccurate or unsafe. The Healing Tree LLC does not control, endorse, or take responsibility for that content or those providers, and any fees you incur with them are your responsibility. AI output is research, not advice — verify everything with your veterinarian.
The app and all content are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that results will meet any standard or expectation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Healing Tree LLC, its owners, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any injury, illness, death, loss, or harm to any animal, person, or property arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) Hucksley's Bowl™, the AI Helper, or any content — even if advised of the possibility. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the one (1) month preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages, so some of the above exclusions and limits may not apply to you; in that case they apply to the maximum extent the law permits.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Healing Tree LLC from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the app or your feeding decisions.
Your subscription grants a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own household. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or republish the app or its content. Updates may be delivered automatically.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [YOUR STATE], USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and you agree the courts located in [YOUR COUNTY/STATE] have jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
Optional (discuss with your attorney before enabling): “Any dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, and you and The Healing Tree LLC waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action.” Arbitration/class-action waivers are powerful but heavily regulated and not enforceable everywhere — do not include this without legal review.
We may update the app and these terms; we will post the updated effective date, and continued use after changes means you accept them. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the app.
